  1. How do I register for an event using Internet Explorer?

    The registration website is not fully supported in Internet Explorer. Please complete your registration with a different web browser or contact mlnevents@blhtech.com for assistance.

    Please check the following:

    • Select your time zone
    • Type your email address correctly in both email fields
    • All fields marked with an asterisk * must be completed

  3. I did not receive a confirmation email.

    When you register, you should see a “Thank you for registering" screen:

    Check your junk email folder if you do not receive a confirmation email. You may need to add no.reply@eventsvc.com to your contacts.

  4. How do I unregister for an event?

    Check your confirmation or reminder emails for an "Unregister" link:

  5. I selected the wrong time zone when I registered. How can I fix this?

    First, unregister - see question #4. After you unregister, re-register with the correct time zone. If you receive a notification "already registered for this event," delete the cookies from your computer - see question #7.

  7. I want to register multiple people for one event, but when I register additional people, I get a message that I am already registered. What do I need to do?

    After registering the first person, the registration system places a cookie in your browser that prohibits multiple registrations. Delete cookies from your browser, then register the next person.

    For Internet Explorer

    • Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of your browser window.
    • Select "Internet Options."
    • Click on "Delete" under "Browsing history."
    • Click on Delete "Cookies."

    For Firefox

    • Go to the "Tools" menu at the top of your browser window.
    • Select "Options."
    • Click on "Clear Recent History."
    • Select the "Cookies" check box.
    • Click on "Clear Now."

    For Safari

    • Click on the circular gear icon in the upper right hand corner of your browser window.
    • Select "Reset Safari."
    • De-select everything except for Remove all "Cookies."
    • Click on "Reset."

    For Google Chrome

    • Click on the wrench (Tools) icon in the upper right hand corner of the browser window.
    • Click on the "Clear Browsing Data" button.
    • De-select everything except for Remove all "Cookies."
    • De-select everything except for Delete "Cookies" and Other Site Data.
    • Click on "Clear Browsing Data."
    • Click on "Close."

    Please note: Sometimes registrants cannot delete cookies because of workplace policies. For assistance, email mlnevents@blhtech.com.

  8. I want to register for an event but do not see it on the registration page.

    If the event you are interested in is not an MLN event, you will need to contact the organizer.

  9. Does each participant need to register individually?

    You can listen to an event in a group. However, if your organization requires proof of registration to award continuing education credit, each member needs to register separately. Find out about associations offering credit for MLN events.

  10. Registration is closed. Can I participate in the event?

    Unfortunately, once registration is closed we cannot accept additional registrations. However, an audio recording and transcript will be available approximately 2 weeks later; visit the CMS MLN Events website, and select your event from the list.

  11. How do I add the event to my Outlook calendar?

    After you register, click the “Add to my Calendar” link on the “Thank you for registering” screen or in your confirmation email.

  12. What time zone is the event held in?

    CMS is in the Eastern Time zone. When you register, select your time zone, so your confirmation has the correct start time. Check your time zone at http://www.time.gov.

  15. Do I need to provide an ID or passcode when I dial into an event?

    No meeting ID or passcode is needed.

  16. During an event, how do I get into queue to ask a question?

    To ask a question:

    • Press star (*) followed by the number (1) on your telephone.
    • Remember to pick up your handset.
    • Remember to unmute your phone before asking your question to ensure clarity.
    • To remove yourself from the queue, press pound (#) on your telephone.

  18. Where can I find the presentation?

    For event materials, visit the CMS MLN Events website, and select your event from the list. The presentation will be available prior to the event.

    For event materials, visit the CMS MLN Events website, and select your event from the list. An audio recording and transcript will be available approximately 2 weeks after the event.

    Many organizations award continuing education credit for participation. Find out about associations offering credit for MLN events.

    Yes, organizations that offer continuing education credit can have information added to the Associations Offering Credit for MLN Events & Training webpage. Contact MLNEventsTeam@cms.hhs.gov for more information.

  24. Certificate of Participation

  25. How can I get a certificate of participation for an event?

    After the event, send a request to mlnevents-certificate@blhtech.com. Include the date and topic in the subject line and your name in the body of the email. We will verify your registration and respond to your request within 5 business days. Certificates of participation are available for 30 days after the event. Only participants who registered for the event can receive a certificate of participation.
